Channel 4 is set to launch a new seasone of Web inspired programming, consisting of live screen-feeds from PC's owned by the public: tune in to hours of live feed of Internet Explorer windows filled with google search results for terms like 'cum on my smirk', 'boy-girls fuck smoking cartoon dogs', streaming .mpeg video files of beastiality, emaciated twenty somethings with bored expressions humping water balloons, and road accidents.

Coming to the idea of self remembering late in life - after 23 years of being - is a difficult thing - as I was warned. Tonight it's hard because I'm reminded of just how little I resemble the person that I thought I was - in habit, in appearance, in abilities.

Kemptown's Sidewinder has re-invented itself as the 'Uk's first eco-pub' apparently, and 'if you have a laptop or a PDA you can access wireless broadband...' oh how eco-friendly can you get? Eco-warriors the nation wide will flock to the Sidewinder armed with their fucking Airported G4 TiBooks / Soni fucking Vague-O laptops ... fucking 4 grand laptops that run on electricity... while they sip fucking coffee and drink corporate cider... how fucking eco-friendly is that????

The street is wild tonight.

One of the mad blokes who used to live in my building has just attempted to kick down the front door, screamed at his imaginary friends for half an hour, wet himself and finally carted off by the police. Wow. And he seemed like such an ordinary 'lager-for-breakfast, everyone who isn't like me is a dirty lesbian or a dirty foreigner' kind of guy. So it wasn't my imagination - he really was a nutter. He got kicked out of wherever he's moved on to and thought he could 'sneak' back in here - which might be difficult because I think someone else has moved in...

The arresting officers had to practically sit on him while they waited for the van.

The interesting thing is that when he was sprawled out and swearing, there were one or two neighbours visibly watching the going's on - but when they put him in the van, and he started yelling about how they were hurting him, suddenly all these pissed-up crusties appeared to defend the honour of this good misanthropic vandal citizen. Odd that.

Anyway the street is still full of the sounds of people kicking heavy objects.

"What I can do is communicate my own knowledge and that of others, especially knowledge that breaks out of the empty paradigm by which we ordinarily live, that is blind to the larger world that I saw and learned to live in, and that I know we can all become part of." Whitley Strieber.
